[9:02pm] Bosun: Joseph Klein, Wisconsin
[9:02pm] Pirate_Joe: Sorry for the delay, dad duties delaying me
[9:02pm] Pirate_Joe: Joseph Onoroski, Vice-Chair, MA
[9:03pm] Sayyida: don't ever apologize for that. family is important.
[9:03pm] Pirate_Joe: So is this
[9:03pm] jokeefe: James O’Keefe, Massachusetts
[9:03pm] designanddraft: elisa miller, midwest missouri
[9:03pm] OGPAF: Johann Drolshagen, Webmster, California
[9:04pm] Sayyida: excellent. now that we are all here, i want to let everyone know we failed to get the bank account set up again. I am very sorry
[9:04pm] Sayyida: I also want to hear from and chat with designanddraft about her running
[9:05pm] Bosun: We have a contact and all the documents organized in. A single folder though.
[9:05pm] designanddraft: no worries about bank account it will get there
[9:06pm] Sayyida: so designanddraft tell us about yourself and why you want to run and what kind of support you want from us
[9:06pm] designanddraft: i am volunteering because it needs done and i can, not because i want to b president
[9:07pm] OGPAF: any plans for expansion?
[9:07pm] jokeefe: Keeping notes at https://wiki.pirate-party.us/PNC_09/16/19
[9:07pm] papegaai: Title: PNC 09/16/19 - United States Pirate Party (at wiki.pirate-party.us)
[9:07pm] Bosun: Why does it need to be done?
[9:07pm] Sayyida: what do you consider your platform to be, we are still developing our platform and supporting states
[9:07pm] designanddraft: i am inline with the party views, decentralize banking is a major key and everyone who goes against it gets killed so support of the group would b appreciated
[9:09pm] Bosun: Are you then against a federal banking system, or just large banks?
[9:09pm] designanddraft: laws off my body, copywrong, and a heavy focus on critical thinking to the people, communication and consent, decision making
[9:09pm] Sayyida: can you tell us more about what views you are in line with?
[9:10pm] designanddraft: decentralized banking is no longer on the kings money system, what america won the revolutionary war, direct money
[9:11pm] Sayyida: I have done some long reading into your facebook page, you have not announced your run and what kind of support you plan on bringing to our devloping party
[9:11pm] Sayyida: have you run for an office before or ran with a party before?
[9:11pm] designanddraft: i will not announce until form 2 is sent, i need form 1 from the party
[9:12pm] Sayyida: ill be right back my internet is being wonky again
[9:12pm] designanddraft: my project for over a decade is www.govby.us
[9:13pm] designanddraft: direct democracy, ending controlled obsolescence, ending routine circumsion...
[9:13pm] OGPAF: have you read Swarmwise?
[9:14pm] Bosun: Fprm 1 is your committee. Each candidate forms a committee
[9:14pm] Sayyida: ok im back issue fixed i think
[9:14pm] jokeefe: Good
[9:14pm] Sayyida: jokeefe, thanks
[9:14pm] jokeefe: Thanks designanddraft - Why should we run a presidential candidate when we haven’t run many candidates for lower offices?
[9:16pm] designanddraft: it is basically a huge venue right now for national president, best time to get ppl interested on all levels
[9:16pm] Sayyida: what kind of paperwork is required of missouri and how many signitures are required?
[9:18pm] Sayyida: as we don't have a chapter in missouri, I am not sure how we are going to get ground support for that
[9:18pm] jokeefe: Massachusetts would require 10,000 voter signatures gathered from mid-February to July. Which likely translates as 12,000-14,000 raw signatures
[9:19pm] designanddraft: i am still registered in michigan, i am in missouri currently...those rules apply for everywhere, not to where i am
[9:19pm] Bosun: Wisconsin is 2K.
[9:20pm] Sayyida: what do you mean registered in Michigan?
[9:20pm] Pirate_Joe: designanddraft, please clarify. Are you planning on staying in Missouri or are stranded and need a ride?
[9:20pm] Bosun: Each state has different requirements. You need to at least register in Wisconsin to be a write in.
[9:20pm] jokeefe: Yes, some states are far easier than others. glad to hear WI is on the easier side.
[9:21pm] Pirate_Joe: I do not mean to be rude, I just want to understand your situation.
[9:21pm] Sayyida: Pirate_Joe, same. I have blown people to prison for FEC violations I want to make sure we don't end in a similar issue
[9:22pm] designanddraft: lol, i do not need a ride, my drivers liscence and voter registration, i know joe
[9:22pm] jokeefe: check out the 2020 PETITIONING FOR PRESIDENT section in http://ballot-access.org/2019/08/25/august-2019-ballot-access-news-print-edition/ to see each state’s requirements
[9:23pm] designanddraft: some counties r even pretty high hoops
[9:23pm] Pirate_Joe: designanddraft, you have the floor, what are you planning then?
[9:24pm] jokeefe: designanddraft - with all attention focused on Trump and the Democratic candidates in 2020, how would a Pirate presidential campaign break through where Greens, Libertarians and others haven’t?
[9:24pm] designanddraft: not to worry so much about the rules that the party is against, to register with the feds, to get the party word out
[9:24pm] Sayyida: considering state by state rules on write ins and who can have ballot status, we don't have a chance in a few states
[9:25pm] designanddraft: because this is the actual solution and many ppl r ready for when they c it
[9:25pm] Sayyida: see what?
[9:26pm] Sayyida: 5 min til time vote to extend time?
[9:26pm] Pirate_Joe: 2nd
[9:26pm] designanddraft: the solution instead of perpetuating a broken system
[9:26pm] jokeefe: aye
[9:26pm] Sayyida: all in favor?
[9:26pm] OGPAF: aye
[9:26pm] Sayyida: aye
[9:26pm] Pirate_Joe: Aye
[9:26pm] Bosun: aye
[9:26pm] Sayyida: time extended 30 min
[9:27pm] jokeefe: designanddraft - do you have a campaign chair and treasurer lined up?
[9:27pm] Sayyida: designanddraft, where it is a broken system, it is rigged against 3rd parties
[9:27pm] Sayyida: how do you plan to get past it where the greens and libertarians have failed?
[9:28pm] designanddraft: thats what this party is about
[9:29pm] Sayyida: how long have you been involved with the party? I am asking because you seem to know something that I am missing?
[9:29pm] Bosun: Why not run locallyy?
[9:30pm] designanddraft: i found out about it during occupy, i met a woman from spain who was involved in its beginings
[9:30pm] Sayyida: ah the old NYC pirates right?
[9:31pm] Bosun: A Spanish Pirate?
[9:32pm] jokeefe: Catalonia Pirates have been very active
[9:32pm] designanddraft: the history of the pirate party and occupy, the platform?
[9:33pm] designanddraft: r any of the greens or libs talking about ending wage slavery?
[9:33pm] Sayyida: what platform? Catalonias?
[9:33pm] Pirate_Joe: designanddraft, sorry for all the questions. As you can tell we are quite excited to have someone interested in run for president. To me, the real question is how do we pull this off and I have yet to have a clear pic as to how you would like us to do so.
[9:33pm] Sayyida: we as a party have not officially set ours
[9:33pm] designanddraft: international pirate party platform
[9:35pm] Sayyida: ours does have some differences with the PPI platform, what little we have devloped into its state
[9:35pm] Sayyida: the uspp is not part of ppi
[9:37pm] designanddraft: the party board filling the paper, i thought that was already done?
[9:38pm] Sayyida: I am chair of the board and I have no clue what paper you are reffering to. I am honestly confused
[9:38pm] designanddraft: i need the # for my form, then at least its official. thats the only formal thing im asking, as to participation...
[9:38pm] Bosun: A national committee or party or PAC is not the same as a campaign committee.
[9:39pm] Bosun: Each candidate forms their own committee. Form 1 is your responsibility.
[9:40pm] jokeefe: FEC candidate guide - https://www.fec.gov/help-candidates-and-committees/guides/
[9:40pm] papegaai: Title: Guides | FEC (at www.fec.gov)
[9:42pm] designanddraft: i dont think they r mutually exclusive?
[9:42pm] K`Tetch_: whoa, actual activity here
[9:43pm] K`Tetch_: oh wait, a 'meeting', so it's here, then vanish for 2 weeks
[9:43pm] Sayyida: ahoy K`Tetch_ hows it going?
[9:43pm] jokeefe: Hey K`Tetch_, meeting every Monday 9-9:30pm
[9:43pm] K`Tetch_: but in between NOTHING
[9:43pm] Pirate_Joe: Ahoy K'tetch_ we do this every week at 9am est for 30 minutes
[9:44pm] Bosun: Or so.
[9:44pm] K`Tetch_: its more like you're intersted in checking the boxes
[9:44pm] designanddraft: and have extended tonight to have what u c here
[9:45pm] K`Tetch_: ok, write in laws - I've the full write in laws for presidential candidates on my site, all ...68 pages of it
[9:45pm] K`Tetch_: and running a presidential candidate is a MASSIVE waste of time, effort and money
[9:45pm] K`Tetch_: 21:30:13 «designanddraft» i found out about it during occupy, i met a woman from spain who was involved in its beginings <-- the spanish came a few years in, incompatible encoding
