[9:08pm] Olivia_: IT related there was almost a burning to the ground of IRC but it seems they'll keep updating the server the Pirate who maintains it she says she's tired and wanted to burn it to the ground.  They came up with another option to keep maintaining PirateIRC.

[9:09pm] Olivia_: She's from the Pirate Party of Finland.
[9:09pm] jokeefe: Is there a way to donate to them?
[9:10pm] Olivia_: I could ask.  She did ask on GlobalPirates if any Parties use it.  I mentioned USPP and MassPirates.  Other Pirates said they use it too.

[9:12pm] Olivia_: Right now it's BigBlueButton.  It used to be jitsi but it's a nightmare with more than a couple people.  BBB started having issues too it's the usual shutting off the videos if you don't want issues.

[9:13pm] jokeefe: I thought they used Mumble for audio only chats in the past

[9:14pm] Olivia_: I've been pushing for Google Meets it requires no downloads or registration.  You just go to the link.  The only person who needs an account is who created it.  I went to a birthday party online the other week and 10 videos all on and nothing went wrong.

[9:14pm] Olivia_: I say that Pirates already use Youtube which is owned by Google.

[9:18pm] Olivia_: @Sayyida  BBB was working well for a while but then it started getting cranky.  Weeks ago we got kicked off many times we didn't know why but BBB had updated.
