The July 12th 2026 PNC Meeting was one of the weekly meetings of the Pirate National Committee (PNC).

- August 2nd was set as a deadline for Texas being potentially having status changed again.
- A deadline of August 9th was set for submitting a location for the 2027 conference with a subsequent September 6th deadline for the PNC to decide a location.

- Strike Article IV section 3, subsection 1, items 1 & 2.
- Replace Article IV section 3, subsection 3, item 1 with. " 3. Officers shall be elected via one of the following methods via silent ballot as selected by the PNC: Instant-runoff, Runoff, Ranked pairs, Schulze, Borda, Approval, Score, or STAR."
Bylaws changes relating to conference location selection
- Discussion on adding a procedure to the bylaws for conference location selection was tabled to the next meeting.
New Business
Platform Committee
- At the June 30th platform committee meeting, it was moved to append end prison slavery and abolish cash bail to the bulleted list of policies in the police reform plank.
- At the July 7th platform committee meeting, changes to the copyright plank were moved to PNC. Specifically, the recommended term of copyright was changed from 5 years digital/14 years physical to two terms of 14 years.

State Parties
Arizona
Arizona had its protest of the IHS Tuscon location closing. They were asked to leave after around an hour due to improper permitting. They managed to make the news. The AZPP website has been relaunched with an improved design.
Illinois
The ILPP is moving to biweekly meetings (every other week) starting in August. Mitch is running for Midlothian IL village board of trustees. The requirement is 50 signatures for ballot access. The Midlothian Pirate Party will be on the ballot. "Official" campaign starts in August.
Maryland
MDPP has continued plans for socials and intends to submit a bid for the 2027 conference.
