Pirate National Committee — All national committees

April 26th, 2026 PNC Meeting was one of the weekly meetings of the Pirate National Committee (PNC). This meeting took place on Jitsi as a public meeting for everyone to join. There was no meeting since it didn't meet quorum.

Discussion

New Business

Bridging to Matrix:

-The IT committee reported on ideas and discussion on bridged a room to Matrix.

-Much more discussion on the logistics and capabilities on what needs to be done for a bridged room.

Community Based Events:

-Proposals have been made for community based events for the PNC to adopt.

-One is for water clean ups.

-Another is the PNC's traditional camera walks. 

-Another is "nationalizing" AZPP's Plunder Hunger food drive nationally.

Election Committee for 2026 Conference:

-A new election committee will be formed for the 2026 conference.

-The Next Meeting will begin the process of the committee.

Added to the new agenda for the May 3rd Meeting:

-Proposal to the bylaws to add a Vetting process.

-Proposal to the bylaws to ban PNC board members from betting on politics.

-Young Pirates USA bylaws change.
