[9:20pm] Korath: It mentions on the Pirate Party website that Oregon has a active Pirate Party but I have not been able to find anything about them. I came here to attend this meeting to find more information. I have been reading through the wiki and the No Safe Harbor to learn more about the Party Platform.

[9:23pm] Korath: Would be difficult for me to form one was hoping to assist one all ready in place through volunteer work.  Would it be possible to help one of the existing committees instead?

[9:25pm] Sayyida: Korath, that depends on your state requirements but find 2 other people and you need to do what your state needs for "establishing a party"

[9:25pm] Sayyida: We won't be having an outreach meeting this week Korath. Bosun had said it earlier in the meeting i am not sure if you were in here yet

[9:26pm] pmchi: And when it comes to actually establishing said party, you won’t be doing it alone. The USPP will help you set up at the state level. Bosun is helping me with Illinois

[9:27pm] Korath: Forming a party at the state level would be difficult since it mentions that I would need 22,000 signatures minimum 
[9:27pm] Korath: Forming one at the county level might be more feasible will look into it

[9:28pm] Bosun: For ballot status. Not necessarily for a party.
[9:28pm] jokeefe: The key thing is to start getting people together Korath and start doing things
[9:29pm] Olivia_: Start now so when Covid "ends" then you can move forward faster.
