Pirate National Committee — All national committees

January 18th, 2026 PNC Meeting was one of the weekly meetings of the Pirate National Committee (PNC). This meeting took place on Jitsi as a public meeting for everyone to join.

Updates:

 -The Committee got discord tickets setup for their discord.

 -Plans to progress to more than just that for the year.

2026 Conference Updates:

 -The need to discuss taglines and themes.

 -Created a etherpad to list all the taglines and themes.

New Business

New State Party and Candidate Updates:
-AZ:

 -Blase discussed difficulties with the campaign.

 -Called for help for collecting signatures.

 -The USPP will rally around to help Blase and the AZPP with the campaign in any way they can.

-ID:

 -Tanner made contact with the Idaho 551 group and interested in coordinating with the Idaho Pirate Party.

-MA:

 -Liam announced to run for Governor of MA.

 -General encouragement but a reminder that if you are going to do it, commit to it. And to contact with the MAPP as soon as possible for assistance.

Drew Bingaman Campaign Updates:

 -Drew has a bunch of events set up such as meet and greets and signature events.

 -Getting volunteers together for the campaign and collecting signatures

 -Gathering materials for the campaign as well.

 -Fundraising is slow but will come through.

YPUSA Update:

 -The YPUSA had a meeting on January 13th.

 -Decided on nominating officers for YPUSA and there is a current nominating process at the time of the meeting.

 -Planning to have the election corroborated with the 2026 conference.

 -Asked for help getting a wiki established.

DoxAgnew:

 -Doxagnew who is running for office joined the meeting but couldn't get the mic to work on his end.

 -Will be at the meeting next week.
