The August 17th, 2025 PNC Meeting was one of the weekly meetings of the Pirate National Committee (PNC). This meeting took place on IRC.

18:08:09 <pmchi> Actually on behalf of Indiana I wanted to update: I’ll be riding the Wabash Valley this week in an effort to get some recruits. I’ll be doing the same in the IL side of the Wabash as well as the IL and IN sides of Chicagoland. Hoping to get a good week out of that

18:25:50 <pmchi> I always found there to be a problem with my Criptext email, but the individual from Maine got back to me. I wonder if the problem is the lack of being about to send emails from the actual Pirate emails themselves

I’m hoping to not only codify our stance on protecting and keeping our water clean, but also I’d like to come with some answers to questions of what do we do in this political climate

It’s not easy to commit to the Pirate Party and I am sympathetic to those that want to but can't, however we do need strong state parties. I’m not blind to the fact that IL has no representation tonight either. State parties cannot be one person in an overcoat. We need to beef up recruitment efforts to those that want to be involved directly so those

The rest of the voting state parties have improvements that need to take place, but that is no fault of any individual and entirely the fault of a movement that hasn’t been accessible enough. That will be fixed by hell of high water because I’m proud of you all and this party and I want us all to succeed
