[9:14pm] rc: from the former greens
[9:15pm] rc left the chat room. (connection closed)
[9:15pm] yari: For the record, I am going to post what you tried to paste:
[9:15pm] yari: Pmchi: The letter from the Green Party of Alaska was returned due to a lack of a claimant, which means I have no way to get in contact with the Green Party of Alaska. Physically, that is. I’d still like a firm no, so I will try again in March after some time.
[9:16pm] yari: No word yet from Rhode Island. We received an inquiry about forming a pirate party of Missouri. I gave a brief run through with Caden about the necessary steps to take.
[9:16pm] yari: Yesterday, I had a meeting with Common Ground USA, a Georgist organization. The meeting concluded with them asking “Hey Mitch, can you write an article about the Pirate Party for our website? We need to post anything to update the site, so anything you write will be good.” This is a great opportunity to write a fluff piece, talking about the Pirate Party and Pirate Politics in general, and getting eyes on us from a group of folks who are interested in w
[9:16pm] yari: what we are and do. I’ll be writing a piece for us later this week, and if there’s anything in particular you’d like me to mention, please reach out or whip up a section and I’ll comply! That is all from Swarmcare
[9:17pm] pmchi: Muchísimas gracias
[9:17pm] jokeefe: Green Party of Alaska’s web site (https://greenpartyalaska.org/) returns 404
[9:17pm] pmchi: The website is down and the PO Box seems a no-go. Only email seems to be the valid form of contact now
[9:18pm] yari: Thank you for the report, pmchi. Do we have any reports from the treasury? Joe?
[9:18pm] Sayyida_ joined the chat room.
[9:18pm] Joe: Yes, I added MA dues and some personal extra in the amount of $40.
[9:19pm] Sayyida left the chat room. (connection closed)
[9:19pm] Sayyida_ is now known as Sayyida.
[9:19pm] Sayyida: Bosun as sayyida
[9:19pm] Joe: Our grand total of available funds is $180 and growing.
[9:19pm] Megan joined the chat room.
[9:19pm] Wodensday: (Back)
[9:20pm] Joe: Wb and Ahoy Bosun and Meg
[9:20pm] Megan: Megan Klein, re entering
[9:20pm] yari: Thank you, Joe. Anything from vice-chair? Sayyida? (also can you please re-ID)
[9:20pm] Sayyida: Joe Klein vice chair
[9:20pm] yari: anything to report?
[9:22pm] Bosun_ joined the chat room.
[9:22pm] Sayyida: No
[9:22pm] yari: Okay, thank you.
[9:22pm] Bosun_: Back as bosun
[9:22pm] Bosun_: kinda
[9:22pm] yari: Anything from the secretary? jokeefe?
[9:23pm] jokeefe: No updates.
[9:23pm] yari: And Wodensday you're on deck for Outreach report
[9:24pm] yari: thanks jokeefe. Wodensday go for it
[9:24pm] Wodensday: Outreach’s big ask this week was that I got in touch with jokeefe about the zazzle store. Which I did. I think the hopes now is that we update some of our merch with event handouts in mind.
[9:24pm] Wodensday: That’s all I really have to report. I’m hoping something comes of this by the end of the month
[9:25pm] Joe: May I add a request for the zazzle store?
[9:25pm] Wodensday: Shoot
[9:25pm] Joe: Black shirt, simple flag
[9:25pm] Joe: Vote pirate, demand freedom
[9:25pm] Wodensday: Request noted
[9:26pm] yari: Thank you Wodensday. Is there any discussion or debate with regard to the reports as they have been presented?
[9:26pm] Bosun_: May I comment?
[9:26pm] yari: Bosun_, you have the floor.
[9:28pm] Bosun_: Zazzle - I think is an OK intermediate - It gets gear and a shop. I politically would prefer a union producer using American made products.
[9:29pm] Wodensday: Absolutely noted. It’s sort of a bandaid for the time being for sure. When we can scale we will scale ethically. I think we all look forward to that.
[9:29pm] Bosun_: I have had my say.
[9:29pm] yari: Your comment is noted, Bosun. Is there any further discussion or debate?
[9:29pm] Joe: May I?
[9:29pm] yari: Joe, you have the floor
[9:30pm] Joe: For the national level this should be a good starting point but on a state level local non-corp would be much easier.
[9:31pm] Joe: Find a local print marketing guy or even save for a print press to make our own. Low threshold.
[9:31pm] Joe: I yield.
[9:31pm] yari: Thank you, Joe. Is there any furthere discussion or debate?
[9:31pm] R0b0t1: Addon to that?
[9:31pm] Wodensday: Another good point.
[9:32pm] yari: R0b0t1, you have the floor.
[9:32pm] Wodensday: If I ever need like a banner to put on a table I’m going to my local guy I know and I would suggest everyone else do the same
[9:32pm] R0b0t1: Comment in this vein, though maybe he's just talking about merch -- I don't know what finances look like or how you're intending to structure things, but a good first step is probably to help people find the info in their state to run as an independent without a party. It can be easier to do this. I looked up doing this in my previous residence, MO. There are often very local positions that can be used to gain a foot into the door, but I think it equally v
[9:32pm] R0b0t1: alid.
[9:32pm] R0b0t1: to go for a higher position
[9:33pm] R0b0t1: Even if you don't win you're forcing people to interact with consituents.
[9:33pm] Bosun_: Even unions have no objections to volunteer labor using a silk screen.
[9:33pm] R0b0t1: I'm done, apologies if the discussion was supposed to be about shirts still :')
[9:33pm] yari: Thank you, R0b0t1. Is there any further discussion or debate on the reports as given?

[9:35pm] yari: hearing none, we will move on to old business.
