PNC Meeting Minutes: July 19th, 2026

The July 19th 2026 PNC Meeting was one of the weekly meetings of the Pirate National Committee (PNC).

  • August 2nd was set as a deadline for Texas being potentially having status changed again.
  • A deadline of August 9th was set for submitting a location for the 2027 conference with a subsequent September 6th deadline for the PNC to decide a location.

  • Next meeting Saturday August 1st to consider ratification of the last update to the PNC bylaws.

  • Midlothian Pirate Party Facebook page launched.
  • Rowan will be unable to serve as representative for the next meeting or two.

  • An in-person meeting was planned with 5 people ready to attend, but had to be canceled.

Endorsement of Micheal Veloff

A candidate for Ohio's 5th congressional district with libertarian party ballot access. Seeking endorsement from the PNC.


Some Stated Policies

  • cashless bail for non-violent offenses, with a potential nominal rate for property crimes. For violent crimes, most should not receive bail.
  • Believes nobody should die in prison.

Motion: Ward moves to endorse Veloff. Lightfoot seconds.
