Old State Party and Candidate Updates:
-AZ:

 -More calls to seeking volunteers, especially in Arizona, to help Blase collect signatures to get on the ballot.
-Blase reported that the Arizona Pirate Party revised its bylaws to add more council roles and transition to county chapters from local chapters, aiming to increase involvement and outreach.

New Business

New State Party and Candidate Updates:
Outreach Committee News:

 -A proposal was made and seconded to remove Cy as the outreach committee chair until further notice whether or not he wants to continue or not. 
-Due to not holding meetings and his absence from the lone meeting arranged this month.
-A vote was held with 5 yeses and 1 abstention, the motion carries.

Discord Ticketing System:

 -Mitch is working on setting up a new ticketing system for the Discord server, with Morgan's and the IT committee's assistance.

"Signing Day" Event:

 -The Legal Marijuana Now party has proposed a nationwide "signing day" event for signature collection on May 23rd, 2026.
-The Pirate Party plans to attend their next meeting to discuss participation.

Condemnation of Operation Metro Surge:

 -The party unanimously agreed to formally condemn Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota, particularly the shooting deaths in Minneapolis, which they view as state-sponsored domestic terrorism. A public statement is expected to be released soon.

Mock Debates Initiative:

 -The idea of hosting mock debates between minor parties, including the Pirate Party, Transhumanist Party, and Libertarian Party, was discussed to help members hone public speaking and debate skills.

Platform Wording Change:

 -Blase proposed changing the platform's phrase "people before corporations" to "people before corporations or government," which Drew refined to "individuals over institutions." 
-The motion to send this to the platform committee for consideration passed unanimously.
