PNC 09/28/2025

The September 28th, 2025 PNC Meeting was one of the weekly meetings of the Pirate National Committee (PNC). It was the second meeting of the proposed experiment to have public Jitsi meetings. This meeting took place on IRC at first for IDs then moved to Jitsi.

Old Business

Indiana and California Probationary Status:
-Discussed about the necessity of Indiana and California being on Probationary Status. California needs to wait a month according to the bylaws. But a vote for Indiana being back to active status was made.
-A motion was made to vote on restoring Indiana.

 The vote was unanimous.

New Business

Establishing North Carolina Party:
-James Nguyen, representing North Carolina, asked questions and help on how to start a pirate party in North Carolina. The committee gave helpful instructions on what to do and how to do it.
Clean water policy being added to the platform:
-Captain Mitch put out a etherpad of having a clean water policy being added to the platform.
-Scribe Blase brought up the point of not just clean water but water itself needs to be protected and not wasted with no disagreement.
-An agreement was made to make a Water Plank to continue the discussion.
