Background
This discussion kicked off in November 2025, though there had been discussion here and there before this.
Ideas that had been suggested include
- Odoo Community software, a comprehensive business suite
- a discord bot (no strong candidate suggested)
- Cryptpad, a full office suite including kanban
- ForumMagnum - forum suite, rebooting the use of the forum
- A standalone kanban or trello software
- Using the wiki
Following further discussion over Discord and action by the IT Officer, Odoo was considered the frontrunner in December 2025 as a new platform to try out for 2026, chosen for how many tools it offers to the PNC, including but also beyond project management. In the meantime the Wiki would be updated to the latest version at earliest opportunity.
