<Woden> For one, V has stepped down as test outreach chair. I am still the outreach chair on the books, so that isn't an issue for the board, just letting you all know that we will ne re-recruting
<Wanda_FL> are you looking for a new outreach chair? 
<Woden> If you also want to try out being a committee chair, let me know!

<Woden> Second vacancy - Rowan Tipping has resigned from Swarmcare Manager. This is an official officer vacancy that should be filled by the board

<Woden> I think it was Matthew
<pmchi> I would like a younger Pirate, preferably college aged, to take the role. And while I know nothing is more permanent than a temporary solution, I am willing to take on the mantle again for the time being; relinquishing it whenever someone comes forward
<pmchi> Matthew works many hours and has a child on the way. He would be great but I worry about piling him for more work

<Woden> He is also a member of like four other parties so while I appreciate his love of the game his plate is pretty full

<Wanda_FL> I feel like you're the most qualified Mitch 
<MichaelC_Scribe> i agree, mitch; i think rowan being a college-aged individual was a great draw to having him be swarmcare manager, so it would be nice if whoever fills the spot more permanently is again someone who is in that age-range
<MichaelC_Scribe> and good point about matthew; in that case, i think mitch would be the perfect (and also most qualified) to step into the role, at least for the time being
<DreadPirateDrew> I move to appoint mitch to the swarmcare vacancy
<Woden> I do not expect this to be resolved tonight. Especially since we will be running a bit over this meeting already

<yari> Drew, we cannot make a motion which appoints someone to swarmcare
<yari> We are required by the bylaws to hold an election in which only the PNC members are able to vote
<yari> that said, there are no specified requirements listed as to candidates

<yari> this election is required to be held as soon as possible after the vacancy
<MichaelC_Scribe> well, i guess i gotta get on the nj party being created asap if i wanna participate in that vote! /hj
<yari> I would love for Mitch to be one of the candidates as least. 
<yari> I think it would be ideal if we considered Matthew as well
<yari> and perhaps a third candidate - we could put a call out
<Woden> It would be very funny to be both dethroned against one's will and then re-elected against one's will

<yari> regardless, all those who are considered for the position should consent to it

<yari> I made a signal group chat for the PNC members and officers so that we can better coordinate meetings and make sure that either reps or alternate reps are present and aware of what is going on

<Wanda_FL> during the outreach meeting we went over how to promote pirate chat and what to do during pirate chat. We decided that we should plan out the month's pirate chat activities at the start of the month and that we should promote pirate chat by pinging for it on the server and discussing activities on the twitter before the pirate chat the day of.

<Wanda_FL> We also decided that for the next Pirate Chat we should do a movie night and I believe we decided to move it to monday for one week only

<pmchi> Is it this Monday? Because I am off and planned to host tomorrow’s platform meeting. However, if we prefer the movie night I will work with the majority of pirates. (However, I think platform should be up and running again asap) :)
<Wanda_FL> honestly im unsure. I believe it is but I dont remember the outreach meeting perfectly

<AddisonWA> the YPA remained dormant for many months while I was inactive in the USPP. from what I've seen in the discord there still is a lot of interest for it and I'll be working diligently over the next week or two to give us a more formal organizational structure. I expect us to have a regular meeting schedule and 100% of bylaws passed by at least the 14th of July
